Ridiculous.

I gave my memo from the O&G to the doctor in Staff Clinic but apparently the doctor wasn’t around.

So the staff nurse called her up and then the doctor said to continue with my appointment with O&G and also to get another memo from them to give it to her.

What the staff nurse told me in the end was that my medically fit status to work in SGH is still pending and not fit. WTH.

This means I’m still not confirm to be a SGH staff. -.-

What nonsense.

 

 

Anyway tonight’s RAYMOND LAM’s concert in Singapore.. too bad I couldn’t go. But nonetheless, all the best to him!

Post-PRCP Life.

It has been 2/52 since the day I left my ward.

I miss the people who have been there for me throughout my 3 months in Ward 63C.

Anyway, my Run on the 12 February was fun even though we didn’t manage to run the competitive 8km run due to the unexpected weather. But we did ran the 6.2km fun run instead because of the fact that we collected our Finisher Medal which states “FINISHER” so it’s not nice to just collect without running.

I felt very accomplished as that was my FIRST medal of the year..

I looked shagged. This was right after our Run..

 

Anyway I’m so confused because I don’t know how is it like if I were to go back to the ward as a staff nurse instead.

*sigh*

 

Oh ya, just to let you know, the-place-I-am-now sucks to the max.

We got scolded for no reason. Just because the uniform we wear are different from theirs doesn’t mean that we are always in the wrong.

All that doesn’t mind anymore because tomorrow’s the LAST DAY there!!

What I can get out of this posting is that the school is wasting resources to send us to this place for 2 whole weeks. Why can’t we be like NYP, just 5 days? -.-

What I heard from others that the place I’m going next is even worse! What’s more?

 

 

Oh ya! Not to forget, I went for the pre-employment medical check-up on 18 February. The people in the Staff Clinic called me back because of some abnormalities in the blood. As expected, my Hb was only 9.8. I went to take my blood again, the result was 9.6! Oh my. Can’t even donate blood!!

What’s worse is that I told this doctor that I have some problems with myself, she referred me to O&G. -.-

Now awaiting for my appointment in 6/52 time- my birthday week. YAY. =.=

Okay, I’m 5 days late in saying that. >.<
Anyway, my PRCP is ahead of the halfway mark! 5 more weeks to go!!
Ganbette! And also, I've signed up for this Safari Zoo
Run on 12 February with my preceptor and one of my staff nurse!!
Can't wait for it!!! But this Run marks my 2nd last day
in the ward. Just hope that I'll be back here.. As for the
3 ward choices, I put W63C as my first choice. 2nd and 3rd is W73
and W53A respectively. I don't know if I made the right
choice, just hope that I did. :/ Oh ya! My mum just bought a dining
table yesterday and it looks fabulous because I'm the one
who assembled it!!

Night shift

I’m now on my 2nd night.
Nice actually when there’s nothing going on. It’s peaceful tonight and I hope it will stay as peaceful as it is for my last night tomorrow.
Haha.. Now my preceptor is having a nap.. Everywhere in my room is so dark including the nurses station. Not like last night where one of my patient passed away and the family was here and stuff. Their presence made me feel that it doesn’t seems like night shift, more like evening shift where you will see relatives visiting their family.
Anyway, there’s 6 more hours before I can go home to sleep.. Just hope I tahan for my last night tomorrow..
Anyway, it’s exactly 1 month since I last published a post! Which means my PRCP journey is 3 months left! Erm. Should I be happy about it? >.<

PRCP!

The day has came, finally.
4 months long of attachment where you can’t make any mistakes or you will be marked down. I cant imagine me being a registered nurse soon after all these end. At least PRCP is to help us grow in a way that we can handle our stuff in the clinicals. But I’m scared. Wish me luck. Ward 63C, here I come! >_<

Project P

Its not that i want to complain but This is such a waste of time. Though they say it’s actually to refresh all our skills since Year 1, I don’t see the fact that we are revising. I wonder how are we surviving in the clinicals. What we are doing are actually more of a Sister-kind-of-work. Managing conflicts, handling complaints, incident reports. The only hands-on I did was OT skills where we scrub our hands and don our gloves and gown.. -.-

First Post in November

Should I celebrate that it’s the first day of November 2010? Let me see, there’s still 1 more week to the start of Project P, 2 more weeks to Pharmacology test in Project P and 3 more weeks to the start of PRCP. *faints*
Dang. I’m scared.
Why are the holidays so damn short?!
Anyway I’ve returned to the power of Harry Potter ever since Channel 5 shown the 1st Potter series… Mesmerizing.. And I started reading Book 7 again!!

Oh, I have another driving practical on Thursday again, my 2nd one and I CAN’T WAIT FOR IT!

You Know What?

I finally drove today!! I mean as a beginner, in the BBDC circuit.. >.<
Nice experience, I love it..
The instructor asked me the reason for not choosing Auto transmission instead and I realized that I don't even have the answer to it.
Makes me wonder if I'm really suited to drive a Manual car..

Never mind, since on the day of registration I'd already set myself to learn a Manual car, I should go forward, isn't it? I should never give up.

Anyway, Keith messaged me just now to ask me to return aven's wooden bow limbs back to them because they need it.. I'm like I thought I returned everything to dominic the day I left? Haiz.. Tsk tsk..
